Bali Visa for Pakistani Passport Holders (2026 Guide)

9 June 2026 · 5 min read

Do Pakistani passport holders need a visa for Bali? Yes. And there's one important thing many people get wrong: there is no visa-on-arrival for Pakistani passports. You must arrange a tourist e-Visa online before you fly. Here's everything you need for 2026.

Which visa do you need?

For tourism, Pakistani citizens need the Indonesia Tourist e-Visa (C1) — previously called the B211A. It's a single-entry visa that allows a 60-day stay and can be extended.

⚠️ Do not book non-refundable flights assuming you'll get a visa at Bali airport — you won't. Pakistani passports are not on Indonesia's visa-on-arrival list.

How much does it cost?

Expect to pay roughly PKR 25,000–40,000. The Indonesian government e-Visa fee is lower, but most travellers use an agency to handle the application, which adds a service fee.

Documents you'll need

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months, with blank pages
  • A clear passport-style photo
  • Proof of onward/return flights
  • Hotel booking or accommodation details
  • Bank statement showing sufficient funds
  • A completed online application

The process, step by step

  1. Apply online through the official Indonesian e-Visa portal (or via an agency).
  2. Upload your documents and pay the fee.
  3. Wait for processing — usually a few working days, but apply at least 2–3 weeks early to be safe.
  4. Receive your e-Visa by email as a PDF.
  5. Print it (and keep a soft copy) to show at immigration in Bali.

On arrival in Bali

Show your printed e-Visa to the immigration officer. They'll stamp your 60-day stay permit. Keep the visa and your passport safe — you'll need them when you leave.

The easy way

Visa paperwork is the most stressful part of a Bali trip for first-timers — and a rejected or late visa can cost you your flight. On our Bali group trips, we process your e-Visa for you as part of the package. You just send us your documents; we handle the rest.
